Geography

Our Intent, Implementation and Impact: 

At Bishops Cannings, our intent is to ensure that children know that Geography is more than just looking at maps! It’s about the different places around the world, the different people that live there and the different changes that are happening.

The 4 C’s of Curiosity, Climate, Community and Compass underpin our Geography learning and allow our children to make stronger links in the subject. Our children will:

• Recognise what Climate Change is and how we can reduce our impact.
• Understand how Communities differ and evolve over time.
• Experience fieldwork and use Compasses and maps to navigate.
• Be Curious to discover more about the world.
